Windshield Visibility in Rain

Alright, I don't have a defroster in my car (no ac), but even with the windows down, I can't see **** when it rains. It's extremely frustrating. Everything is uber blurry. What do you guys with no ac do in the rain? Anyone else have this problem? Could it be I need new wipers or something? It's really frustrating, and borderline dangerous. I can't really drive my car in the rain much, but obviously you can't tell god to just make it stop when you have to go somewhere.

a/c isn't used when defrosting....warm/hot works for defrosting.

Either works, you're just trying to get the moisture out of the air around the windshield.

Slow your breathing way down and take shallow breaths until you fix your defroster fan....

Parts are not the problem...the blower fan is sitting right at the passenger's feet....running down the circuit where the problem is, is something completely different. Check fuses first, don't assume they're good because they look good, use a test light to verify flow, then it's time to break out the Haynes manual for some fun,,,,

Rain X is the best thing I have ever used. . . I swear by it!
A/C is the better option, especially if you live in the tropics! Who wants to apply HEAT into their car in those muggy rainy (thus fogging up screen) evenings? Sometimes even a minute or less A/C clears it right up.
nice comment Mar3 - breathe less etc - LOL!!!

When you use your defroster make sure your not recycling the air. Like NimrodTT said you're trying to remove the moisture from the air. So when you recyle the air, although it may blow faster, the moisture still remains in your car. Make sure your sucking fresh air inside. It will drastically defrost your windows much faster.
