take that middle thing out they are mounted to. also, try unclogging them with a pin (sowing pin) or somethign really small and sharp and pointy...

Get a phillips,14mm box and open the hood. Take off the wipers first with the 14mm, then use the phillips to remove the 6(?) screws across by the latch. The center pipece pulls right up allowing you to get at the wiper motor and fluid lines. Hope that helps

That would be a 14mm box wrench. Although a 14mm open-end wrench would work too.

And while you are in there do your car and your favorite plant a favor and pull all of the composted leaves out of there and give them to your plant. Mines growing like crazy with that rotary powered mulch.

Right on.

I think the wipers should take a 12mm, 14mm sounds too big. The cowl panel takes a phillps head. You need a crescent wrench or something (forget the exact size of it) to get the larger nut off the base of the wiper. I think you can get by by just taking the passenger side one off.

The plastic that those little sprayers are made of can be very brittle by now. I just broke mine this week. What a PITA.

Once you have the cowl plate off you need to undo the metal clip on the back, and remove the fluid hose. It's pretty simple.

Bye,

no no no, first remove your driver's front wheel. then prop the driver's door on a stand. make sure your wipers are in the upright position, and turn them on. now try to get the screws in the plate out with a narrow flathead screwdriver. once you have given up break the sprayer off, go to the junkyard and buy one that looks like you want. pop into hole and hookup line or hook up line through hole then shove sprayer in hole. this is all best done with your and my pal, mr jim beam.

if none of this works you'll need a new ecu.

When I first bought my car, I tried the washer (after I just filled it up, ofcourse) and I just heard the pump running. So I drove forward and noticed a big puddle in the mirror. Anyway, due to a lack of hoses, I had to replace all those that were under the grill. It's easy to remove, just pop the hood and take out some bolts.

Two words... Compressed air.

Blow down the nozzles, then try spraying them.

I've never heard of these lighted ones.

Does anyone have a link to a picture of one?

Thanks,

They look nice and those big ol' suv's can see you better. Any of the auto zone or pep boys have them. Around $20 if not less.

Soak the nozzle in vinegar overnight. Scale in the holes will dissovle out. Run the pump with the nozzle off to flush the lines and water the neighbors yard.
