Windows, bumpers, and exhaust

Just a few problems with my car that i just noticed, the driver side window likes to fall off the tracks and not roll up properly, anyone ever have this problem?

MY rear bumper, the underside, where the muffler is supposed to stick out, is rusted and bent. Does it seperate from the bumper itself or do you have to replace the whole bumper?

Exhaust, how do you take off the exhaust from the mani? Is it just two bolts like other cars? Kinda hard to get up there or what?

Btw, for you guys who were wondering about the rats nest problem, i just needed to set the air fuel mixture properly to get it to idle good. Its prety good but not great. AS long as i dont press the brakes or use any other power then it will idle fine at 1000 rpms. Which is way better than 2500 like before. The kick down is still set at 110 km which is totally retarded. I havent found the problem to that yet. Oh well, atleast it runs and runs well.

Anyone know where to get a nice body kit for under $1500

you can tighten your window tracks there is a 10mm bolt that hold it in place just pull it over as far as you can and tighten it down

the pice you are talking about (rear bumper) is the body its self.. you could drill out the spot and remove it if you know where a good 1 is than you would have to weld it back on to the car..after removing it the same way from the doner car

the exhaust is held on with 4 bolts at the manifold to the motor, than 2 bolts from the manifold to the pre cat, than 2 from the pre cat to the cat

as for a body kit you can try VB or goto www.rx7mall.com or you can custom make 1 from other car bumpers/ body kits

thanks that helps. I cant believe that rear piece of the bumper is original, the only thing i could think of is cut it out with a grinder or small saw and weld in a new piece, grind, and paint.

How loud would my car be running straight off the exhaust mani? I kinda wanna just get it off there because the cats are pissing me off. Then il take the whole thing to the local shop and get one made up thats the same but without the cats.

YA i fixed the exhaust, still loud as ****. The cat was so clogged that i swear it was restricting 20 hp. Definately feels good in the assdyno. But while trying out the new power i braught it up to 6.5 k in first gear and blew a radhose. So i had to lay on the side of the road and fix it. What a pain in the ***. But its all good.

I think im going to weld in a bottle where the old muffler was if i can rig it up somehow, and if i get up early enough. Uhg, i doubt it will happen till wednesday.

Instead of buying a $1500 body kit, go buy an $800 Racing Beat exhaust.
