window problem

window problem

for whatever reason my windows(both or them) come off the track when I try to roll them down.......I know I'm not the first one to have this problem.......anyone know how to fix it?

Check your window channel. Goes around the door for the glass and also down some into the door. Where your front adjustment is. Mine does the same but the channel had been cut where it should go down into the door.

yeah I did that, but it almost seems like the window is too small for the channels it just slides about 1/2 an inch between the two channels. I took the entire door apart and I still cant figure it out

I have not replaced my channels yet but i hate to buy regulators to find out its not that. Drivers door is the worst. Roll the window down and if it don't go off track it ends up tipping forward. So when you roll it back up you have to grab the glass and shift it to the rear. Tryed all adjustments nothing helped. Did not need it much in the winter but summer is different.

sounds like my driver side door,

hope to get a couple new channels this week,
that **** is anoying

its the channel it gets worn fast,

i bet their all on the driver side also

mine is on all three 1st gens ive owned
