win 5 bucks - gauge cluster wiring

I need:

A list of the ONLY WIRES ABSOLUTELY NEEDED to provide the proper function of the fuel gauge on a stock 1985 RX-7 GS gauge cluster. Cluster starts from a completely off state. Low fuel gauge idiot light and gauge illumination are not necessary. The stock GS fuel sending unit is being used. Name the wire color designations, and their signal ranges.

First person with a correct answer wins 5 bucks.

problem solved

Correct answer:

Power: IG1 (12V); Connector: C-03 [F]; Color: GY
Signal: variable resistance; Connector: C-01 [F]; Color: Y
Ground: GND; Connector: C-03 [F]; Color: B
(Or) Ground#2: GND; Connector: C-01 [F]; Color: B

The problem I had was the wrong connector (I used C-01 instead of C-03). C-03 wire GY feeds power to all of the gauges in the cluser and is (physically) a 3-pin connector. Color code is GY, which is a shared color with connector C-01, which feeds the overdrive idiot light (an option only on AT). GY connector C-01 will not feed power to the gauges in the cluster.
