today i went to the junk yard an found a mx3..would i be able to use the seats? would i just have to chage the brackets? or are they just junk

you may have to do some custom work to get them to mount, But if you like them then give it a try.

A nice update is some 2nd gen seats. I think out of the GXL. They sit real good.

Ya, the FC GXL seats are nice. I got a couple cloth black ones for my 82. Pretty much a bolt in.
