clear coating removal/ wheel pollish

Last weekend I spent about 3 hours sitting at a glass beading machine, stripping the Clear Coat off the wheels of my 12A s3.

I have cleaned them up and got them looking realy nice. have spent a bit of time polishing them myself. they do look a damn site better than they did. clear coat cracked and stripping etc...

I need to find out if anyone knows of a chromer or polisher in Brisbane that can polish them up for me?? I would do it myself but i have this thing called a job, that kinda limits the time that i can spend doing it.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Trigga

Can't help with the polisher, but next time you remove the clear coat, try an aerosol paint remover, followed by a very light beading. If there is no oxidation present, skip the beads and go straight to polish.

Flitz Wheel Polishing Kit.
My neighbor just did the ClearCoat removel thing this weekend and used this kit and the Wheels looked Great.
Not sure about the up keep after this procedure but I can ask him.
Wish they had this system out a few years ago.
I have used Flitz products in the past and they work great.
Especially there Bees Wax.
Have Fun
