I'm going to try and buy it. I have a friend who may be able to pick it up for me and I can squeeze out three days where a road trip could work. Here's hoping there's another 7 in my driveway in a couple weeks.

With all the body damage it has sustained, it's probably tweaked the shell as well. I say it needs to be crushed after it's been picked clean. There's still plenty of good examples in the papers every week.

I'll forgive you... I used to run against POS at every race... now he's in a miata, not quite the same competition...
Let me know when to expect you, I'm always out there.

I'm in CSP this year... So far just wheels and high flow cat,but coilovers are in the living room, and *hopefully* I'll have a full RB system here in another week or so.

Cool yayarx7 bring it out, like to see what you’ve done to the old girl!
I run ES, I know it’s not an RX7, but do I still get partial credit for having a Mazda?

I alternate between running with the SCCA
http://autocross.com/texasregion
and a second autocross group here in town, Equipe Rapide
http://autocross.com/er
Both of these groups run once per month, so that's plenty of races. If not, you can always catch the occaisional Porsche or BMW club events. They also run something monthly..
SCCA run next weekend at the speedway, and ER's next race is on the 19th in bedford. I hope to be at both. You going to come? At least to watch if nothing else...

no, I think they were talking about the June event... I think it was moved back a week.
Don't hold me to that though....
And both ER and SCCA run on Sunday's.. I might be off by a day on the dates.

I ran a BMWCCA event last month in Mineral Wells. Would have probably have been a lot more fun if it would have stopped raining! Plan to try another one hopefully this month. They basically had a small track set-up utilizing the entire lot at MW. Was getting 70+ on one area in the pouring rain. If it had been dry it would have been real fast!
They however run on Saturdays.
I went out and got a set of Falken Azenis for my Mazda, stick good, and are cheap $50.00ea at discount for a 195/60/14. Can't wait for the next event.
