will it fit?

ok, I am doing the interior of my 83 gsl and I am taking out all the parts out of two different 84's and everything so far seems to fit in there just fine, the dash is trashed in mine and both the 84's have great dashes but they are a totally different style and I need to know if one will fit in the 83 since all the control ***** and stereo surround is different, or would I also need to change all the controls out too. If anyone knows and could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

You must change out the WHOLE sash, including the sub-frame.

Do you know if the 84 dash wiring will plug in to the 83 harness?

yeah the dash is one bitch i dont like to tango with.....

Every time i work on that thing, i fill EVERY screw hole w/ a screw i took out, yet when i get it all back together i look down and still have about 5 screws left over.... There must be near nothing holding that dash in.... cause all the screws are in the arm rest bin!!!!

it is possible to place an 84 or 85 interior into an earlier 79-83 model rx. I took an 83 and turned it into a gsl-se using a gsl-se i wrecked and ended up keeping as salvage. but my god the wiring conversion. the entire car, fuel system, suspension system, it aint worth it brother,,,, it aint.

haha! that happens to me, too. The other night I had my dash apart and when I got it back together I was really excited that I "only" had 2 extra screws
