YEah i agree with roto--- if anything it needs to look more like the headlights that were on the "concept" hadtop miata back in like 96. the headlights only came up halfway and had two small round projectors. (pull out your old issues of road and track they had a feature article) Yeah and if someone buys these good luck getting them lined up where you can see the road.

Im gonna do the two projector setup myself. I know everyone says theyre gonna make a kit, but Im just gonna build myself one, asses the cost, and see if I can make it available. If not, Ill just post what I did and how I did it for you to do yourselves. Granted, thats a long ways off right now...

i got 100$ says the clear lense cover part on the front melts after a good 5 hours of driving at night, and watch out for wire fires.... see this is half the wprk on my kit... trying to get it simple and IDIOT proof... not calling people idiots, its just i would want to but a good setup and it last and thats what i will sell. pre wired so you hook up a few 12v + wires and plug it into the stock light plug and remove and install the old/new light bucket and blam painless reliable good quality lights that look cool as hell and work good/ better than stock

I planned on making mine have the dual projector look with the half pop ups (see picture). Im gonna use Hella lights, one low beam, and one high beam. Both will be H9 style lights. Very nice lights. My friend has them on a flush headlight conversion for his Miata, and theyre damn nice. Theyre DOT approved also.
Anyway, Im not trying to make a kit, Im doing this for my own car, and if I think that I COULD make a kit, Ill look into it, but I would only sell something like that high quality, so it might not be cheap. Id aim for around $300 per kit though, but I cant make any gurantees, and as I said, its a ways off anyway.

Roto did your friend buy those from a guy in TN? I know a guy here that has the patent on the miata projectors that look just like that! My dad is in the miata club here and i hang out with him every now and then... i like the half up projector pop ups. how do you modify the motors so they only go up half way?

As for the motors, I havent really looked, but I have my ideas . Basically just shorter actuator arms would do the trick I think...
