Widest tires??

What is the widest tire that can be fit on a 14x7 and still fit the fenders of my GSL??

225/45R-14 on a wheel with 4-4.5" backspacing.

Hoosier makes a 225, in a 13" but they suggest a wheel width minimum of 8".... even though they will mount on.

im about to try 225/50/15's on my 85. i expect clearance issues, ill porlly have to roll the fender lips and mod the inner wheel well

They will not fit if your running an 8" rim. Trust me. My panasports rub.

let me know if you get it to work for some strange reason.
Run a 205 or 215. It would be easier.

What rim size are you running?

the 15's i have are 7 inch(a little on the narrow side for 225's). did you or are you still trying to sell your panasports? i left you a voicemail a few weeks ago and im not sure if you got it or not

Was with out a phone for a while. The panasports are going to a good home here where I can visit them often.

7" should work with new spring and shocks!

lol im planning on it (as soon as marsha lets go of my wallet) im working on getting a carb at the moment and i havent decided on which springs im going to get yet

Already got ahold of the wallet! Man, wait till your married!

As for springs, well you know what the eibachs, tokico blues, and the rb swaybars will do. At the time the eibachs were cheaper.
Look into the rb setup. It comes with springs and shocks and I think even swaybars.

no, I dont think they have shocks included. It includes just the f/r sways and the springs
