Question Why the two tubes in exhaust system?

Hey guys, I am installing a header on my '85 12a RX7. I want to delete the two presilencers and the cat. What do i do with the two pipes that go to the exhaust pipe under the car? One is in the middle of the two presilencers and the other is going to the cat. This car is completely stock and needs not to be. I would like to remove the emission system soon and thought that those tubes go to it. Any help???

Ok they are precats not silencers. The pipes are air injection and come from your airpump you can remove the and the air pump to save weight it should not be a problem. Go to www.mazspeed.com and checkout there tutorials on emission system removal. Good luck.
