I'm gonna paint my car and was thinking of something like this color, anyone know the owner so I can find out the name and manufacturer of the paint?

It might be the 89+ RX-7 Red (not sure of the name)
A friend painted his with that and it looks VERY nice
and alot like the red in the picture, nice and bright.

Re: Whose car is this?

That color is the Sunshine Red Color Code RH from Mazda. It was used from 1976 through 1992. My car is also painted with the same colors. If you would like to see it to compare got to http://www.rotaryrx7.com under my rx7 page. I am pretty sure that that is the correct paint code....

Yeah, Sunrise Red is a nice color, but I have yet to see one that is this deep of a red in the shade, and turns this orange in the right light. Then again I haven't seen that many with really nice paint.

Talking

That paint is called "Arrest me now red" also known as "Slop Bucket Red" for it's tendancies for attracting the Pigs.

Sunrise Red is the orginal Mazda color - I have an 85 with orginal Sunrise Red paint - always kept garaged - paint looks new - and looks like the ones in the picture you posted - however, car only has 49K miles - which helps keep the paint looking new in addition to always keeping it out of the sun and weather
