I don't know whos carb that is,but why would the carb hit the intake on his 79?I had some clearence issues, but nothing that using the 81+ carb spacer didn't fix.Maybe this guy just needs so guidance on mounting this carb instead of selling it.

i wonder if this carb is a "sterling" or "yaw", or just modded by removing emissions. i guess there's no way of telling just by looking at it is there?

I don\t think it is a Yaw because I have one,and I don't think there is even one single wire anywhere on the carb for anything. That carb has a few electrical connections on it still.

Steve,
hope this helps..... new pictures on ebay.

As for the carb, weel like it says I got it from someone else and have no idea who built it or what has been done to it. I don't need it as my sa's carb was rebuilt and is working for now till the 13b goes in.

not a Carl/Sterling because it has vac secs and electrical connections.

By looking at it, it just looks rebuilt and stripped of emissions
