It's funny how people think you know who they are when youve never met them. It's confusing and takes a minute when you tell me who you are. I'm slow that way. I gotta think,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh yea rotarygod, ok!
Oh and glad to meet you too Fred.

Man-oh-man! I thought for sure we'd get busted!
(...and uhhh, not for nuthin', but yer husband starts to get that "Charlie Manson eyes" thing goin' on when he's driving that thing! )
I had such a great time meeting all of you. Everybody was so great. I even got to pal around with Robert for a while and check out some of his work, spottable from across the lot by his trade-mark Weber turbo-boxes.
When I first met Robert, I said to myself, "Gee. He's not a fat cross-eyed **** who's all full-up with himself afterall. He's actually a real nice guy that just loves the drag scene."

okay, so sterling what did you think about a supercharged rotory engine ??
did it disappoint you, floored you, made you pee, ???? add to the idea's of what we were talking about ?? 7 inch camden..... i've started fooling around with a cog belt design for a standard n/a engine,,pulleys, tension-er, but finding a belt is going to be hard. it's looking like a racing thing only. because of the other belts needed to street drive, A/C, air pump, and power steering. it would seem you two guys (sterling, rx7carl) share the same mind-sets. great minds think alike.

Well, did you see Guru Racing's purdy n' shiney pulley kit? That combined with the super I was talking about, and with a stock 12A, it should be very streetable. Streetported, it should really kick ***.
Code Blue II's is a mild-port 13B, but I forget what psi it's running.
Putting out 225 RWHP I think(?). But HP#s are for young men with ***** inadequacy issues...It's not "how much" power, it's "where it is" that's really important, and that little car got to the speed it wanted to get to real fast!
I have plans on intercooling mine in a blow-thru carb configuration possibly with water i9njection later on down the road. I'm hoping to get that same RWHP & that same behavoir, only out of a stockport 12A.
-After the ride in Code Blue II's car, I'll be happy if I even get close.

i was talking to home-boy at the pulley tent. MRmazda racing i guess it was. everything there was for serpentine belt(s), not that those are bad.. i forget his name, i've got his card around here somewhere, but he agreed a cog type belt
is much less power robbing and the trade off is the cost to have goodyear make a custom belt.. i like the idea of a 1 inch wide cog belt. where a cog is single sided to a serpentine that is double sided..oh well it makes better sense and also whatever piece of hardware running of the back side of the serpentine belt goes in reverse rotation.. so i'm at scrub the mission status,,,,next ..... and remember
" don't let your meat loaf " Lol...
question for both of you's guys. how important in terms of flow is the shape of an air filter canister.. rounded corners, 90' degree's (box) does a inclosed carb. make a difference?(race) no emissions .. have you's guys thought about smoothing out the air horns on the nikki's... the inside ? just want to hear your feedback(s)

Airflow is my life
The air box shape is vitally important to how much air the carb can ingest. Search for my arr box mod thread (no its not a typo) . We're working on something that will be a bolt on and outflow anything out there.
On the inside of the carb I saw no gain trying different ideas for un restricting the flow. But now that I know more about airflow, some new tests may be in order.
