well guys, i hate to say this...

but i have $236 to my name right now, and my insurance payment of slightly more than that is due on the 20th... so as of this moment i'm dismayed to say that i wont be showing up.

****, i hate this, i have to go to Rochester this weekend (supposed to be there last weekend... but i had to go to Jersey to do some work for my mother) to salvage what little there is left of my relationship with this girl (and to get some ***, but thats kind of secondary)... and i cant afford the gas money to go do that (let alone feeding myself while i'm there)... so i cant do that

depressed is a good word to describe me now, i knew this was gonna happen, i just didnt want it to happen until the next few weeks after seeing my girl and friends, and after the camping trip.... cause then i can bust my *** at work for a couple of weeks and make the money.

Well, for all the fair-weather campers out there the extended forecast does not look too promising. 50% chance of rain on Saturday with a probability Ivan remnants will give the mid-atlantic a drenching during the weekend.

Still pretty early to tell but I would venture to guess no one would want to camp in heavy rains.

If we have to change I can work around it. The 25th does not work. Lets try for mid Oct.

John

Funny I just checked and Sat and Sun were fine.

makes no difference to me. Any weekend between now and the end of the semester (mid december) are the same, so I could only go saturday during the day for any of them. Whatever you guys wanna do is fine with me

Well in my case it really all depends on the track of Ivan over the weekend at my house. When Frances came through, over 11" of rain fell just one county over to the west of us.. Lotsa flooding.
It's still too early to have a ***** on accurate forecast, but every indication looks like Ivan follows the spine of the Appalachians, right to my back door.

Well, I just got back from Ca., and that was alot to ask of my Mrs. in the first place. She wants me to pretend I'm an integral part of our family this weekend, which means at the very best possible, I might be able to squeeze a day-drive to spend only a few hours with everyone.

I'm up for an October thingy. Besides, the warmth of brotherhood that you think will make you tough enough to endure the cold rain of night leaves you when you ente your tent within about the first 1/2 hour of freezing your wet *** off as you try to fall asleep!

I am much more fond of brisk October nights when camping, anyway. Don't worry- I won't eat all the boar meat!

So lets make it for the first weekend in October then. I'm actually off that Friday so it works well. Lets vote on that.

So what is the outcome? When do you think this will happen?

Lets get the ball rolling and hope the RX7 Gods don't rain on this one.
