Wink Who wants to go camping in NJ???

August's was a bust because of the hurricane and so ever since the weather has been a bit more predictable...

so i'm seeing who want's to go this month...

Sept. 11th, 18th or 25th?

Camping will be in NJ at Stokes Forest...same deal as the last one that never happened...

Man, I'd love to join you guys. I'm guessing about a 8-9hr drive for me here in East Tennessee though. There are some really cool car shows going on those weekends here in Tennessee (Pigeon Forge) Wouldn't miss 'em for the world.

"Shades of the Past" Sept. 10-12 (pre 1950 only)
"The Grand" Sept. 17-19 (mostly 60's and 70's muscle cars)

Hey, maybe next spring? My seven should be painted and lookin' good by then.

I can only do the 18th. Going to Seseme Place with the family on the 11th and the wife is out of town on the 25th.
I'm all fired up for this, I can bring the fun stuff and some beer.

Will this be a Friday-Saturday-Sunday thing? I have off that Friday, so I can come down any time that day.

The weekend of the 11th doesn't work for me. I'll be out in Ca @ Sevenstock.

so if this is just like the other one that didn't happen does that mean this won't happen either? oooo think about it....
ok or not. As of this moment I don't forsee anything going on any of those weekends, but most everything in my life happens last minute, so the sooner we finalize a date the better off it is for me

I could ask off for the 25th. Anybody wanna buy my plane ticket and a rental car?

Too bad there's no way I can make it to this or Sevenstock. Oh well. Hope it happens this time. Take lots of pics.

yea has anything new been decided? I'm pretty flexible, but I know for a fact taht I can't get there till saturday sometime, I have school all day (literally sunup to sundown) on fridays and theres no way I'll be awake for anything. And like john said, why are we limiting ourselves to these 3 days? October is one of the best months of the year imo

Yeah, I agree. If we're gonna go through so much to get everyone's schedules coinciding, as well as have some folks travel so far, then we should make it a two nighter.
-Besides, that creates more opportunity for others with less flexible schedules that might be able to show up just for one day.

I still cannot commit quite yet.

So are we talking about Friday/Saturday! So the 17th and 18th! I might just be able to do one night, leaving the wife for two night with two kids spells death for me. So I can make it Friday night and hang to about 4 or so the next day.

Well, as Bizzaro knows- I have recently been 'gifted' with some extremely tender wild boar meat. If everyone is ok with some fresh marinated and grilled wild boar, I'll be more than happy to bring it along.

What do y'all say to wild boar, corn on the cob, some fresh bread and beer for a Saturday dinner?

Also- I'll bring the same stuff as before with the addition of split and dried firewood (no axe this time )

Oh yeah- How many folks are bringing wives and kids?
