where to locate a shift ****?

If this subject has already been covered i appoligize as i didnt find anything in the search. Ive got an 84 with the gray interior thats almost finished but theres 2 things worn that i need to deal with and those are the steering wheel and the shift ****. I can deal with the steering wheel but i cant find a stock replacement shift ****. I looked in victoria british and came up with no luck and so thats why ive created this thread. Is there anywhere i can get a new shift ****? Id even consider some aftermarkey style **** but ONLY if it screws on, ive tried the universal kind with the plastic thing inside only to rip it off time and time again. Id consider a billet **** of some sort as long as its tasteful and not like a ricer thing. Im trying to keep the car nastalgic looking. If yall have any ideas or pictures of ***** please chime in. I am opened to anything. My **** is in decent shape but its worn down smooth and sticks out compared to the rest of the interior cuz the rest is all new. Thanks everyone.

The one I have is the older style, with the shifts engraved in the rubber.. I'll try to shoot a pic tomorrow.. The steering wheel and shifter both, came out of a car with only 85,000 on it.. They are both in excellent shape.. I'll try to get you some pics.. Later.

It should fit, but it is not correct for that year. If you're doing a full restoration back to stock specs its not what you need, otherwise go for it. IMHO the earlier shift ***** look better.

PS: partsguy74 is the one to buy from. I've done buisness with him before, nice guy, good prices, fast shipping.
