Where to get hoses for rat's nest removal
I've been to Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Partsource, Princess Auto, and even a place called Hose Headquarters. I've called NAPA. None of them have had the 5/32 vacuum hose, 5/16 vac hose, or the 5/32 fuel/emission hose. The plugs and t-fittings are about just as difficult to find as well. I want it off now damnit. Any suggestions for other places to look, or other more common sizes that will work would be appreciated. Thanks

For the vacuum hose, go to Canadian Tire and look for "Windshield Washer Hose" in the appropriate size. It's the exact same stuff.
For the "fuel/emissions" hose, tell the guy at the parts counter you're replacing the hoses at your fuel pump and you need "5/32 Fuel Line"
Until you find the plugs (which are available at Canadian Tire but I wouldn't get them there because they only sell them in a multi-pack for $5 that only has three you can use, and I don't wanna spend $15 on vacuum caps!), you can just use short lengths of hose with screws forced in the end. It's not a permanent fix, but it'll get you running until you find caps.
Check the archive for info on using a PCV valve instead of a purge valve. I like that setup better, in my opinion it's much cleaner. And you wouldn't be using 5/32 fuel/emissions hose, you could use something a little bigger and more common.
