Where did your fan come from?

I've seen numerous threads about electric fan conversions. The fans come from all kinds of different places... Fieros, Tauruses, aftermarket...

I dunno which one to get, as I'm converting both the RX-7 and my Pickup truck...

I wanna find the most widely used fan, so please posts where yours came from.

If you can, post the Make, Model, Year, and engine size of the car it came from if it's outta a different car.

1995+ Cavalier/Sunfire 4 cyl. With it on, I can open the door and feel heat blowing out of the engine bay.

It is my opinion that a fiero fan will not fit with a 13b, but someone may correct me on that.

damm.. how can you say stock fan is good enough for you.. it's like saying "why mod the motor if it's not broken?"

people! don't you know by switching to an electric fan you're also reducing stresses in your water pump?

just food for thought..

Got mine out of a Mustang. Looks like the same one people have gotten out of the Taurus's. Haven't installed it yet since I'm converting the radiator mounts over to accept an FC radiator. I love that slant look!

I use the Taurus 3.8 on my 13B, but I prefer the Taurus 3.0. It matches the long radiator for the 12A S3 cars perfectly.
