where can i get a fuel vapor canister?

where can i get a fuel vapor canister?

does any one know where i can get a fuel vapor canister? i think mine is bad cuz its leakin from the botom.

The Charcoal Canister is attatched to the carb so that when you have excess fuel it doesnt flood the carb and returns it to the gastank through a filter with charcoal in it.

yeah, the part was discontinued and i really need one. this car is really pissin me off so if i cant get it runnin beter soon itll be for sale!

Or you can just eliminate the thing by running the hose from the carb directly to the other line that runs to the gastank. We do this on civics, the charcoal canister is more for emissions than anything. Aslong as you have good filters in the car, i would say bypass it.

Sorry, but that is oh so very incorrect. The canister captures fuel vapors from the tank. When the engine is restarted, those vapors are drawn back into the carb. If there is raw fuel in the canister, there are other problems to address.
