Well I have an explorer which has 175 hpr stock. It ran a 17.00 in the 1/4. Now you compare 370 hpr in the same truck and look at the time difference. If you car is stock, you will get your *** handed to you. Now, guys let's not be so hard on him. Some people are just slower than others. Wouldn't you be mad if you looked like Peter Griffin off of the family guy. Not to mention he has his brains too. So where did that picture go of him? I need to see it for one more good laugh.

ok openshot there really is no way to answer your question there are to many things that could happen in a race...that is also a built jimmy. if you had a stock jimmy vs a stock rx7 i would put my money on the rx7..built jummy vs built rx7 my money is on the rx7...built jimmy vs stock rx7 money is on the jimmy unless the rx7 is a turboII or a 3rd gen

It is possible he could beat all stock RX-7s over the 1/8th, but would lose to the later models over the 1/4 where aerodynamics would become a factor.

As for beating a modified RX-7 it would depend on how modified. As a rough guide, he could do a 1/4 in the low 14s so a gen1 with 200 hp should be equal.

 

Well you are stock, he is modified. He will win, do a TII swap and the results could be very different... Stock RX-7's aren't dragsters, they are 1980's sports cars that were made affordable and a good "out of the box" package.

My girlfriend's unmolested 96 Grand Am SE 4dr auto 2.4 four cylinder almost pwned me! We were dead even until we hit 80 and I then I walked past her. I have an RB header with 2.25 back to a restrictive muffler, stock leaky piece of **** carb, k&N drop in filter, no AC or PS, removed heavy rear insulated rubber mat and no emissions. I was a little diappointed oh yeah, I can't shift hard because my clutch is starting to slip when I shift mad quick yo. Our cars are a little on the slow side, but thats okay because they look damn good!
