Where to buy replacement parts that Mazdatrix doesn't have?

I've had EXTREMELY good success with Mazdatrix. Unfortunately they don't have the power brake booster I need for my '82 GSL. Neither does any of the parts houses in town. All special order with freight charges.

Is there another Mazdatrix like site that might have this?

Did some searches and only came up with OEM dealer type places that didn't seem to reliable.

Thanks
-Paul

Have you tried websites such as rockauto.com and napaonline.com?

rockauto would likely be far cheaper than blackdragon, but I bet either would have the booster.
You wouldn't want to pay Mazdatrix price for one, in all likelyhood......

Going to take a shot in the dark and call the dealer.

Rockauto has Cardone and Bendix for $10 more.

Parts houses have Cardone.

Black dragon is a bit pricer and doesn't specify brand.

I have had terrible luck with Cardone reman stuff. Junk yards around here have crap. The few I found weren't much better than mine.

Have you tried calling Mazdatrix? They can get more than the list on the site.

I got the Cardone booster in 2007 for $57 from RockAuto and its still working fine.

RockAuto will have almost everything you need for OEM parts. Mazdatrix and RB are
best used for aftermarket performance parts or very mazda specifc parts that
don't show up in rockauto, like interior.exterior pieces. BlackDragon is another
source for some odd bits that RockAuto won't carry.

i had to replace the booster in my 82 also, and here is what i found.

mazda no longer has it, so since mazdatrix buys it from the dealership too, neither will they.

napa listed it, and i tried to order it from them, but they didn't actually have one.

i ended up getting it rebuilt locally for like $80. it actually looks like its really easy to rebuild

and the really dumb part is that its not hooked up yet! surprisingly pedal effort is not bad... i was expecting the car to need the brakes hooked, but it really doesn't
