Cool Wheel Question...

I have finally found a rim i am satisfied with, on my FB.
I have decided on the AXIS Racer-X hyper silver rims.
They are 15x7 for the front, with a +38mm offset. ( 2.5in lip )
The rear are 15x8 with a -27mm offset. (with a beautiful 5in lip, may i add)

The question i have is: will they fit ok in the wheel wells???
Has anyone put rims, this fat, on there 1st gen??

Keep in mind i will be flaring all 4 corners.
What i am concerned about is them rubing on the inside, or when i turn the steering wheel..

(For those who have to ask... No. i don't mean bolt pattern as i am getting adapter plates with the rims' 4x100 bolt pattern)

Thanks in advance, to whomever can help me with this question!

Holy crap, man. It's not my style, but that's some serious lip. Very cool. I can't help much on the math, but here are the images for everyone else

thanks for posting the pics Crit!
the top pic is the color i am getting (Hyper silver)

The top pic is going on the front and the bottom pic is going on the back.
The plan in the end is to powdercoat the inner part of the rim black, and leave the chrome lip as is.
(you can't buy the rims in black centre chrome lip)

I am going to put a deposit on these rims today or tomorow, so they can order them in......
can anyone help answer my question before i order?

What i'm concerned about is the front rim (+38mm offset)

I'm trying to decide weather i shoud just buy 4 of the -27mm offset ones. Just to be sure they fit ok..

+38mm is a lot of offset. I'm guessing that the +38mm fitment is intended for front wheel drive cars? I wouldn't try it unless I was using wheel adapters or spacers...

The Konig Rewinds in 15x7 have a 20mm offset, but it depends on how thick your spacers end up being. With 15x7 fronts you won't need to flare the fenders, anything over that and you'll at least need to aggresively roll the rears to fit the 8inch wide wheel, or maybe a small flare.

There is really no way of knowing without knowing the thickness of the spacers/adapters. As stated 20mm is the usual offset. I believe a lot of people here have run 15x8's on the back in stock setup as long as the offset is correct.
