There sure is a large variety of "other cars". I don't see a trend, does anyone.

Me and ddewhurst both have 1994 Thunderbird SC 5Ms as others.

I'm just wondering if I know him from another board.

ddewhurts stole my idea! j/k My DD is a 98 'danger' Ranger 3.0L w/ 5 speed & 4wd, and am planning on towing my 83 7 to the races when she's ready. I can pull it, just need trailer brakes to stop it though. (maybe an ancor too...)

For almost 10 years my other car was a Chevy V-6 powered GLC I built in highschool.GSL rearend,200hp EFI,5 speed...pretty fun.

Its gone now,but the motor found its way into an 87 Samurai,my new other vehicle currently in build. When its nice out I ride my FZR1000,FZR600 or Virago 750.

Well, until recenty my DD was a 91 Dodge Ram (about eight gallons to the mile )

Now, it's an 87 Base model converted to GTU standards.

The FB sits in restoration, waiting for me to figure out how to get the 'donor' 13B in there (probably wait until after the paint job, whenever insurance comes).

Then I'll have a dillema on wether to drive the FB, or the FC daily!

There's a lot of people answering that they have other cars but it doesn't sound like they can drive their 1st gens daily.

If I could, I'd ONLY have my 1st gen and drive it every day. The other cars were purchased just to keep my 1st gen from having to see rain, hail and snow.

My 85gsl is my daily driver. My 2003 Hemi Ram sit's covered. I love them both but it's just easier to park with the 7. The way I have my Ram set up the 7 can't compete with it for speed, but the manual trans on the 7 just makes it funner to drive daily. The really funny thing is, at first I bought the 7 cause the Ram guzzled gas...little did I know!!!

'00 Hyundai Elantra GLS - Decent power, good economy, and it will run without having to tweak something everyday.

My poor '83 RX is still falling apart, I need to find a new engine, I can't just duct tape the damage done by the previous owner. Fun to drive in the rain, though, it always wants to drift on the wet roads.

I drive my "10 year project car" every day.For now, its my only 4 wheel transpo.Rain or shine, she gets driven.
I used to mix it up a bit with the GLC,but realistically having 2 sportcars and no truck was kinda a hassel.I couldnt justify insuring 3 vehicles for myself,so I pulled the fun part of the GLC out and put it in a more practical vehicle.Thats why I got the Samurai. Its dirty and rough and I dont have to wax it.Plus itll go anywhere and it finally gave me an excuse to take the trailer hitch off the RX.

Also just bought back my brother's old 92 Probe 2.2 l from my Uncle (bro ended up not being able to pay for it, Uncle took it back, now it's MINE, mwa ha ha). I'm wondering if I should keep the 12 A in the FB and put the Part's car's 13 B in the Probe. . . . *drool*

My 82 GS is my daily driver. I bought it so I could garage my 73 mustang coupe for restoration. The 73 project turned into a 71 fastback (still a project) 2 years ago.
Once it's done I will garage the 82 and restore/modify it.

(of course the 82 is a project car as well. Just have to have everything done by the next morning so that I can drive it.)

well, my first project car is my 95 300zx, which is being rebuilt after a small crash. Its going to stay with me forever. My daily driver is a 99 Saab 9-5 turbo. No way in hell i would get rid of that. But since the 79 rex is my wifes car, and she drives a crappy POS pontiac grand am, thats the first car to go, lol
