I think the white lettering looks good

It really adds some contrast to the black of the tire. I'm running whitewalls on my stock 13inch rims.. I think they make the stock rims look better and when I posted pics of my car, people said it made them look *bigger* too. Do the whole set, or buy tires with it already done, but the paint really stands out, if it'll stay.

Exactly. They look good on the 13 inch "Plus" rims only though.

I think it all depends on rims and overall style of car IMO. I have raised white letters on my stock rims, but I have have a set of BBS black mesh rims getting fitted with new shoes and they will be mounted black side out. I'll try to post a pic of my stock wheels.

You aren't talking about mounting 235s or 215s on those 5.5" rims are you?

Those are custom-widened steelies...and boy, are they wide!

They have 235/50/13 on back right now and 215/50/13 up front, and fit perfectly, but he hasn't had much luck finding replacement 235's - any leads?

White letter tires...

I always liked the first gen w/white letter tires and wonder why you don't see more of them on stock wheels...

When the white lettering is clean, I think they look fantastic. I personally like the solid RWL better than the outlined RWL, but either look great when clean on the RX7.
