I came across an '85 GS w/ 200k on it. It runs fine, but the chassis is pretty rusted out. And the body panels have some surface rust. So, it makes for a good mechanical parts car. Any guess what it's worth?

I bought an 81 GSL for $800.00 about 15 years ago. Just sold it for $500.00. The bitch has over 200k mi on the original engine that still starts every time & runs like a top. Yeah.

a rusted chassis is no minor problem, i wouldnt get i at all unless he was giving it to you.

I agree. Be patient. If you buy it, you'll find another without rust for $500.00 a few weeks later and kick yourself.
