What's up with this console?

Here's a photo of the interior of my '83 GSL. The 4 switches are for the Windows, cruise control and what I think is the rear wiper (which doesn't work). The switch cover doesn't fir the console in the car though. I think that one of these pieces is from a different year or model. Any idea where I can get the bits that actually fit my car?

The switches and mounting plate are correct for your car, but you have an 84-85 center console mounted in your car. an 81-83 console would be the one you'd need to accommodate your window switch plate.

I figured it'd be something like that. Any ideas on where to get one?

84/85 have the Cruise control and rear washer switches on the dash. You've got two choices: Use an 84/85 switch plate which will control the windows only, or get an 81-83 console. Looks like the 81-83 switch plate you have has been cut/modified, so you would probably have to source a new one of those if you did switch to a 81-83 console.
