Realistically, it's pretty hard for anyone to tell you what power you're putting out on the internet. You're probably somewhere like 15% over stock.

with low miles and a strong running engine id say 110 hp
now with some freebie or cheapie mods you can bring the numbers up fast
such as removing the smog setup etc...

I agree that assuming the engine is in a good state 110-115hp SAE at the flywheel is the most likely performance. however I think there would have been a similar 10%increase in torque.
The easiest way to check the significance of the mods is before and after dyno readings, on the same machine! Its relatively cheap compared wit the total costs.

The main reason I asked was b/c I just got the car, and I have no idea as of it's specs. I wasn't nessessarily trying to see how much more hp I have now with the exhaust. I bought the car with that already done to it, and was simply interested in finding out what my HP/torque was. edmunds only shows specs of cars 1990+...

I thought it was 101hp stock?
How about this set up? I haven't put it on a dyno yet.
- RB Header
- Custom open stright piped exhaust
- RB intake
- RB modded Holley Carb
- 12a engine stock port
- No emissions what so ever (air pump, rats nest, vac lines, acv, etc...)
- No clutch fan (electric)
Any guesses?

i might as well speak up and ask.....this is soon to be on the car....
dellorto rb setup
stock ported 12a in very nice shape..(no smoke no oil drip nothing
RB header / open exhaust
no emissions etc.
oh, and there will be an aftermarket fuelpump..any suggestions?
so what do you think...i was guessing...+15hp for the free flow exhaust / header...and according to rb dellorto +50hp (50% gain) for the dellorto...am i right?

LOL...thanks Peejay, but i fixed the lack of fuel in bowls. Lowered the pressure and messed with the air/fuel mixture screws.
Oh, and I'm not running 1.5 mpg anymore....

Its a real problem. everyune quotes theoritical flywheell figures. About the only person who publishes dyno data is Paul Yaw, where ever he is.
It would be real great if people published rwhp which is realistically what is the best information available.
I agree that any set of NA modifications to a stockport 12a will not give you more than 150-155hp, regardless of what carb is being used. Unfortunately trying to estimate the effect of only a few mods such as a RB header is full of uncertainity due to dyno inaccuracy. There is just insufficient real evidence around, so any prediction is as accurate as a weather forecast.
For the most cost effective approach, count like a Civic Ricer. Every sticker adds 5hp to your performance.
