What is this, A trick Question? :-)
Power window vehicle have motors for the windows. That should answer your question as to which is lighter.

As for the exact weight, I don't know. Approx 3-5 lbs would be my guess per side.

Use the hand crank windows with the power window glass. Power window glass is lighter to put less strain on the motors. Or so I've been told. Don't know weights, but lose the motors and add lighter glass, should drop a few pounds, as stated, per side.

I stated that in a post once as a joke to member. Maybe that's where you remember it from. :-)

Actually I think, but I'm not positive, Sam(dj55b) mentioned it, but you could very well be right. I wouldn't quote me on that though, my memory is very horrible.

I did actually weigh my windows and they are different by like 100 grams/4 ounces (power lighter on mine), so that could just be those specific windows differnt. Just to squash that rumor.

Yup there was a thread about it last year or so about weighing their power windows vs manual and saw that the power were lighter.

Just don't run it with the blinker fluid filled to the top. That'll save you a few pounds at least.
