Lightbulb whats the difference between the 40IDA and 48 DCOE

The question is will the 48 DCOE fit the racing beat manifold made for the 40 IDA for a 84 12A. And whats the difference?

DCOE = sidedraft
IDA = downdraft

a 40 weber has different manifold bolt pattern than a 48 weber whether both IDA or DCOE. Not all webers fit the same flange unlike popular belief.
