What's the deal on SPEC?
Hey All ~
I just wanted to hear from any of you guys that use SPEC clutches on Rx-7s. They seem to get rave reviews from the MR2 Turbo crowd, but this is the only thing I've found here:
->Click Here<-
I've read the specs on the Stage 3 clutch they offer and it sounds like it should be more than enough for what I have planned down the road - 230+ streetport 13B. However, right off the bat, one of their selling points is light pedal effort. Bah ... I hate that crap! I like heavy pedals. However, I'm considering it for financial reasons right now. I've been nursing this busted-*** clutch for 3 years now, but it's getting worse and I travel a lot so the last thing I need is a failure hundreds of miles from home.
I'm a firm believer in ACT (that's what I use in my MR2T) but they're a lot more expensive. However, if the SPEC clutches are garbage, I'm sure I can wait until I get some more money together.
Anyway, just let me know about your experiences.
Thanks
