83 LE Tire Question

Just wanted to know if I could up the tire size from 195 to 205 without it rubbing?
Any info would be great.

i don't see why not, a lot of us run 205's on the stock 13" wheels. The only thing you're gonna run into is finding the right sized sidewall. The LE rims have 195/60 on them stock, going to 205 would (ideally) mean going to a 55 sidewall, which doesn't exist (that I've found) so you'll have to stick with the 60 sidewall, and since its a percentage of the treadwidth (which is now 10mm wider) the sidewall will be larger as well. Not a whole lot, but it might not look exactly right. Just something to consider

Thanks 82transam. I'll stick with the 195/60.

yea, thats what I plan to run on the Le wheels I have for my project car, 195/60 falken azenis's. I've seen a couple SE guys run 205/60 on their wheels, doesn't look bad, but you can definatly see the sidewall is a little too big. I would think the extra sidewall flex would negate any advantages the slightly wider tread would have. just my $.02
