Question What's the best way to stretch hose ends?

So I'm in the process of replacing hoses, and some of the hose is 3.5 mm on one end, and something like 6-8 mm on the other end. Is there some prefered technique to get the hose to stretch? I was thinking of using a hair dryer or some other heat source and a large phillips tip screwdriver to stretch the ends.

Thanks!

Add a tiny amount of oil to the nipple and force it on. Just enough to lube it and not greatly affect the rubber in a bad way. I've also used a screwdriver to sort of hone out a hose before too. It worked. Good luck.

Try fitting a pair of needle nose pliers in the end of the hose then opening the pliers to stretch the hose around the nipple.
