Whats the best thing to get...

dents pocked back out? I was wondering whats the best thing? I saw some kits at pepboys. Do you guys think this stuff is crap? I think so. Does it work? I'm planning on using dry ice. I'll post an update on the dry ice when i do it(hopefully sometime soon). Just wondering what you guys have done. Thanks in advance. God bless

Ya, i know where the thread is, i think i'll just go with that. Thanks tho, god bless. WhAt would work on creased dents, I hate it when people bump into your car. Actually they were there when i got the car, but still. Would i have to get it professinally done for the creased dent? Thanks

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. For the stuff to be solid at normal atmosheric pressure it has to be cold as can be/ - 593 F or -274 C is cold as can be (a lot of cars won't start)

"Apply cold as can be stuff" to dented metal, the metal shrinks.

As in all body work, there is an art to it.

the stuff at PepBoys is crap, I tried it on my bike. I'm going to try the dry ice method, if I'm ever at the bodywork stage

Don't you have to heat the area first with a hair dryer/heat gun before you apply the dry ice? (And wear gloves with the dry ice!) Then the "metal memory" pops it back out...

Dry ice works well with round dents, not that well with ones that have creases. My new Eastwoods catalogue came in the mail yesterday, I was drooling at all of the body tools in this issue. Better than a Penthouse fold out, but then I'm old and odd, lol.

If you want to learn how to fix dents, Google is your friend, along with the book store. Amazon.com has a good selection.
