I'm gutting my interior right now. And I have all the bin peices out. And next to the one clairion box there is a brozeish colored box with a mitsubishi logo on it. What is this? Also I thought all the clairion things were in the bin area beside the obv stuff in the counsol. Because I have one in the bins one under the drivers seat. And I dont have a digi cam to take pics unfortunatly.

 

If it has a big plug on it with lots of wires, it could be the cruise control computer. Especially if its on the drivers side.

One question though... There is a blue wire that goes over towards the tranny tunnel. Then goes through a rubber plug and out the floor, going towards the back of the car. Does this connect to the fuel pump or somthing back there?

 

i think thats something to do with the exhaust. like a 02 sensor or somthing.

 

Yep. Fuel pump wires. Two wires in a blue protective thing, right?

 

Definatly fuel pump wires if its also on the drivers side under the bins with a plug about 8 inches up the wires from the floor.

My car will still run with that computer out right? I havnt tried as I've been chiping out the sound tar crap.
