Holy compressed picture batman.

It has a turbo emblem. That's quite a novelty.

Need pics of the interior or under the hood to narrow it down.Right now,it could be anything between 81 and 85.
All the regular indicators like badges and the front valance are gone/modified,so we cant really tell........not that it really matters anyways.Except for the interior redesign in 84,there were only minor detail changes between the 81-85 12A cars.

Looks like one of the custom builds from back in the day. Notice the custom window with the extra support? Maybe one of the real (removeable) Targa turbos from Pacific Avitar or one of the other companies that did conversions.

I have waited for 18 years to buy this car from a buddy I worked with a long time ago. He bought it from the Mazda dealer in Winnipeg and drove it for a month then decide to rebuild the motor. He ripped the motor apart and that was end of story. Sold it to his son. It has sat in his garage till now I finally got his son to part with it. All I can remember that it has in are Recaro leather seats some sort of custom intake, targa roof and 50,000 miles some other goodies that I can't remember. He sent me some pics but I didn't ask what year the car was it is between 80-84. I asked if someone knew the year from just looking at the pic I posted. There is a difference of 1100 miles between us so we have not had much time to talk about the car. It will be shipped on a truck to me in the next month or so. I have some work to do on it as the motor still wont run I will post progress as it happens.

its between an 81-85. an interior shot will help narrow the year down. i'm guessing an 84-85 based on the desert brown color......
