What would you do?

I'm closing in on feeling compertable about painting my 7. Of course with 20 year old look cylinders they're shot, I used my Subaru Key to "break in" today when I left my keys in the ignition with the dam thing running. So the question is, Should I shave the lock and get remotes or buy a new set from mazdatirx or VB. Give you pros and cons PLEASE. Thanx

shaving the locks will give you an extra 20hp from the aerodynamics alone...

if you want the bling, shave them but leave the trunk key just in case you kill your battery and the keyless entry won't work.

if you don't care about bling, just get replacement locks

I have to admit it does look clean with no door locks...

^^^ thats my plan eventually.. just need to see if it'd pass the pits

would be nothing worse than going to the effort of taking them all of.. bog it up, nice new paint job, and then some cop tell you to go and put it all back on.

hmmm...
