Here you go. Pics of the rotor once I get them.

A little background on the rotors for you. I had to literally pry the apex seal grooves open to remove the remaining pieces of seal from them. There are some pretty hefty gouges on the rotor faces also. 2 of 3 apex seals shattered. Good times, good times.

lol, its not fake. Its the original engine from my 83. I could start it but it lacked in power and wouldnt idle for ****. This was the first time I owned my car (long story). Anyways, I bought the car back and also 2 parts cars and finally tore the original down after noticing it had no compression in the front rotor.

The rotor housings in my DD look as bad as that. And I drive that to work everyday. 80 psi compression is no way to go thru life.

Is that the engine you were going to bring up here to tear down? If so, I'm glad you did it at home! I wouldn't want any of that to infect my supercharged 13B!

Ive got a bookend 12A housing with a lot more chrome gone than that.Forcing a seized engine to un-seize tends to do that!
But mine aint got the long gouges like yours has above the trailing plug holes, thats some bad sh*t!!

No, that was the original 83 engine from my car. The one I tried to start 4 years ago (and it did) but ran crappy. My SP engine is all good.

Yeah thats it. I figured it was pretty toasted. Hell, there were animals living in the engine bay and there was no oil cap, plugs, or starter. I am still digging out side seals from the rotors. Amazing what a little gunk can do to a seal.

You should see the ones from my orignal A the engine was overheated so bad it took the chrome out on the bottom of both housings and some idiot dropped a nut down the intake.....caused massive damage. But the good side to it is because some moron did that I got my car for free!!!!
