One is the kick-down relay.

This will help. That's how I found the kick-down relay.

the other is the 'choke and check' relay, and its kind of like the main relay in a modern car.

Wait, isn't the one on the right the location of the air-con relay?

The one on the left is the choke and check and is primarily responsible for most of the idiots lights working in the console when you turn on the key before starting. The other looks like the AC relay but it has been repositioned (see the shiny screw) and usually sits (sometimes) back to back behind the choke and check relay. It would cycle the AC compressor based on the circuit over above the exhaust going into the firewall and connecting to a pressure sensor in the AC line. This varies bit depending if it was dealer installed AC or not.

Actually the the screw on the right is the original, I was trying to remove it because I was trying to check if there was rust up underneath there and it wouldn’t come out so I was trying to grind/drill out the screw to then pull them. There were also two relays mounted behind them(the two black ones laying underneath that are still connected to the harness) not sure what those are for but i may be able to look at a diagram and see for those. One of those may be the relay you are talking about for the AC I’m not sure.
