What are these and how do I fix them?

Hey guys, before I bought my fb from my dad my stepmom had run over a curb stopper, and bent these things up. I can't remember what they're called, but someone told me I could have them bent or pressed back out. Any opinions on how to get this lower part fixed?
I colored in red on it and around it in the pictures to give you an idea.

They are called rocker panels. They can be drilled and pulled with a slide hammer, a better option is to find a body shop that can spot weld pins on and pull it that way. If you want to do it youself, Harbor Freight should have a cheap dent puller. Suction cup pullers or the glue type, like the Dent King, won't have enough grip strength to pull the rockers.

Rocker panels. Part of the frame assembly. To repair you have to cut and weld. Considered to be a structural (frame) repair.

I recommed a body shop pull, weld the pull holes, and use a minimum of filler.

It's my job. I'm an auto damage appraiser.

My Rx7 has a similiar dent. I got a repair quote ,last week, of $300. Not sure if that's a good price or not. Hopefully when the work is done it will look like (or be better than) the second picture below.
