What are these for? (engine bay)

hey everyone...
I removed my rats nest last fall and now I have questions on what else I can remove from my car... I have searched but haven't been answered... I assume this first picture is for cruise control maybe? The second one I have no idea, Im wondering if I can just remove these because I have seen some of you other guys don't have them... And my final question is there any other electrical connections I can Eliminate from the passenger side of the carb... (picture 3)

Thanks lots!

hot start is suposed to crack the open a tiny bit on start up, or something to that effect.

Rusty, that one is funky looking compared to the one on my '81 and '83.......
Yours could be stripped of some emissions of course.... (mine were stock)

The 2 extra vac lines coming out of the top are also for emissions. You can plug those lines (on both ends). They were added onto the 84-85 cars.
