the front end does allow a lot of air to flow under it, which is not good at high speeds... i also am not a fan of most body kits, but i think at this point, if i were going to put on a front ait dam, i would go with the one from mariah (changing the turn signals over to an fb)

off hand, i think it is the mode four air damn that i like.
the only problem is that most of their kits are for a wide body, which i donot want... but i think that bumber can be used as a stand alone piece..

This is by FARRRR the best setup I've seen.. If I was to do it allover again.. I'll copy this style with a Weap0n twist.

sorry to inform yuo, but everyone of those is made for an FB. you could get it to work on an SA, but would need to atleast change over to the FB style turn signals.

the one that i was refering to, that i liked, which replaces the entire fron end is the one of berns car. (the silver one with the TII hood scoop. it is a mariah air damn)

I consider all 79-85s SAs...
I wasnt aware of there being a difference between SAs and FBs.
so I meant FB
I know the early ones have the different rear taillamps.
but I have a Japanese friend with an 84 RX-7 with a 12A Turbo, and he refers to his as an SA22GTX... so thats why I thought all 79-85s were called SAs.
he told me 'no such thing as FB.'
is it an American thing?

is this what you consider an SA?

and this an FB?
I see no difference besides the lights.
looks like same chassis

Chapel.. you can bolt on the fb bumpers on the to fa chassis.. no prob..
The diffrence in the body kit.. is one designed for the 79-80 bumpers.. and the other for the 81-85 ..

but without the bumpers and the lights...
the chassis is identical, yes?
(except for that rear suspension point on the 85s)

by FA, you mean SA?
