i'm looking to get a k&n cone filter, but i dont know what size. i looked at summitracing.com and they have a whole list of different sizes. i was planning on getting the adapter plate from k2rd.com and they say it takes any filters with an I.D. of 2.75 in. or bigger. summit has at least 3 or 4 in the 2.75 to 3 in range. which size?

 

Why not go to the source K&n filters they seem to have a very informative page. I would put the largest I could get away with. Too small might hamper your top end. http://www.knfilters.com

 

i just don't know how long/wide i CAN fit in the space available. i was wondering if someone who has done this could please tell me what size they have sitting in their car right now so that i can get the biggest one possible.
