Sterling or rx7carl can better answer that one. I can tell you the subject has been brought up before.

At one time I was supposed to race Wackyracer's bro, who had a very similar setup, except he had a 48 IDA. The race never happenned. Instead, wacko's bro decided to blow his engine

Dude that is a 13B with a monster streetport, MSD, electric fan conversion, big exhaust, and the 48 IDA. He'd beat me.

I'm in invisible mode, that's why it's not showing me being online.

I can tell you that a straight through muffler with 2 presilencers is loud. His isnt too bad. Sounds pretty good actually. His needs to be louder, but his location isnt the best for that.

yes i know that. but the glasspacks that the mexican/hispanic muffler shops have here are actually pretty good and hold up well and it does quiet it down nicely.

i'm running the complete, long primary system on my sp 13b, header, presilencer on each pipe, then rb muffler. u wont have any problems from the cops about loud exhaust. it is VERY quite compaired to what i remember it being with header, 2 pipes to the axle, then into one into stock muffler. since loud exhaust isn't really a prob around here, one day i plan to do away with the presilencers. the rb system gives a deeper tone for those that don't like the "tinny" sound. i highly recommend the complete system for those concerned about noise.

My exhaust consists of a Racing beat header, presilencer, and in the center section there's a ricer boy presilencer. then a dynomax muffler. Its their good one and hasent burnt out in 3 years its been on 2 cars. My exhaust is very quiet. I'm quieter than any ricer or most per4mance cars on the road. The exhaust is totally straight through and you know it when I get on it. its the perfect car. quiet and loud as heck when i get on it.

They are indeed restrictive, which is why I will be doing away with the racing beat muffler when I do project torque. I'll be swtiching to a magnaflow

I hosted another source of the sound clips if you guys still need them. This should be faster than the Yahoo! site.

I've had just about every RB mix there is on my 2 RX7s. The presilencer sounds little different than the cat - both w/ a RB Primaflow muffler. Add a RB header & presilencer & things change. Gives an open, raspy, gutteral note that is unmistakably rotary and rich. Gotta have it.

Oh man, free-revving your engine just isn't the same as running through the gears. I absolutely LOVE the sound of the exhaust now that I can drive my 7.
