Ok here we go:

http://f2.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc.../sounds&.view=l

That's a folder in my Yahoo briefcase. It contains 3 files. Exhaust.avi is a clip of the sound of the exhaust from inside the car, in a 0-60 or so. Tach was taken to 8k rpm in 1st and 2nd. Exhaust1.avi is the sound of the exhaust from outside the car. Again, engine was revved up to 8k rpm. Intake.avi is a clip of the sound of the intake with the hood opened. You'll notice is louder than the exhaust hahaha.

Enjoy.

Fawking awesome. I'm thinking about taking the presilencer off my 7 once I get it running, but I dunno.

I love the sound of the buzzer. Mine doesn't have it though I've revved it to 8000 searching for the buzzer, but no go.

[edit] Wow, just listened to the exhaust1 clip. It might just be because it's on a camera-mic, but it seems quieter than mine with a RB header, presilencer, and muffler. Either way, it sounds freekin' awesome.

If you don't have the RB one for muffler, it might well be quieter than yours. However, you're right, the camera mic is not exactly the best. You sorta have to turn the voume up in your computer to make it similar to what it sounds like. The camera used was a Canon S330 Powershot.

Oh shaddap with your "restrictive" chant already. The RB muffler provides the best flow in relationship with the muffling of the sound. Sure, having headers to straight pipe and no muffler at all would be the best flow. But it would be a little too loud don't you think? the point of the thread is that the muffler by itself is enough to muffle the sound of the exhaust, without the need of a presilencer, and without being too loud.

first off its basically the most unrestrictive exhaust you can have short of straight pipes, also a little backpressure is good on a NA engine, remember that.

Wadda ya mean you want your 5th and 6th ports to open. Forget that. Freeflowing is for me.

1 truck size glasspack + straight through 2.5" magnaflow. there, that solved it yet?

it sounds good don't get me wrong, but from opinions and personal experience, it's still not good enough. and to add to it even more, you're streetported.

but to each their own!

Well that's too loud for my taste, and it attracts too much cop attention for my taste too. And it would probably cook faster than an RB muffler as well.

Who ever told you to use glasspacks on a rotary?

Everyone knows the glass won't hold up to the heat from a rotary exhaust.

wtf--Man that yahoo server sucks. I get about 0.3 kb/s trying to download that avi.

I'd love to hear it but don't have all week to download.

Any chance someone else got it and could host?
