i would like to know what is a good rpm to shift from 1 to 2 , 2 to 3, and so on..

1-2 i usually shift after the tires grab traction, then it runs into 8k then from 2nd to 3rd i shift at around 7.5k, 3rd to 4th is about 7k. i shift really fast though, carburated 6port

If it's a stock, carb'd 12A, shift around 6400 rpm...after that, the horsepower curve starts to drop and you're wasting time/revs...

I power shift(don't let off gas) at 6.5-7.
You really should get the feel for when the car stops making power, any more and your causing unnecessary wear.
