What products for coloring interior parts

I am looking to change the color on some plastic pieces, dash and the felt roof lining, which products work best and where are they available from...

Thanks

Will the grey cover burgundy? Any suggestions for felt lining?

I used VHT to change my taupe interior to black on my old MX-3..it changed with no problems..but using grey to cover burgandy..hmmm I would test a small area or piece first to see how it does

SEM has a good line of interior color products. I used it to recolor my gray plastic panels that had faded.

I also had my paint supplier custom mix some Lesanol paint, with the interior additive, to change the tan/gold interior on my Z, to gray. I have not tried either on fabric, but they have that capacity.

I used dye from Eastwood, but I was not changing color. I was very happy with the results.

There is some vinyl cleaner / vinyl prep you have to use first before you use the paint / dye. You can call them also; they are very helpful (or were to me!).

the problem with using the spray dyes on fabric is that it tends to make the fabric hard and no longer pliable...but on the plastic parts it works great

Call Eastwood and talk to them. Restorers do this all the time and they would know the best way to go.

if it's as easy as all of these comments say (and it sounds like it is), why do so many people look for entire interiors to swap out for (usually for black!) I even spent hours ripping out a black interior from another car (have yet to swap), but now it sounds like i can just order up a few cans of this stuff... the one from summit says on the can u can use it on carpet too! I won't be able to sell my perfect brown interior once i paint/dye it, but who'd buy it anyway?
