From a roll you have even less of a chance. I kept up with a 97 mustang in the 1/8 and he still passed at the end, from a stop he will spin alot, but when he catchs traction thats when he will begin to walk you down.

my SE with full streetport exhaust (magnaflow instead of powerpulse) runs dead even with the '03 GT in the 1/8th mile. after about 100mph the gt just gets up and goes, just starts walking cars on me. your stock exhaust with a busted cat just won't cut it...

Oh yea, the S-afc will not work with the gsl-se ecu, so i've heard, so that's out of the question unless you're gonna swap to the 2nd gen ecu.

 

How about a mustang with about 260 wheel hp vs. a 84 GSL-SE freshly broken in, with about 170 hp?

 

We dunno people just go try it. the worst that will happen is you will lose.
