I'd say the extra weight from the body kit will add enough weight to counter the removal of the insulation, and the extra power from the header, so I agree with rx7passion, it'l be closer to stock, maybe a bit faster.

hmmm, well the white faced guages and the blue bulbs would probably add another 40 HP, and the banner would add at least 12 HP, so I'd say you're down about 4 seconds on the 1/4

Jeff

PS - Sounds like a very nice ride though, can't wait to see some pics!

Shift ****

What are you guys replacing your shift **** with? Mine has the common broken plastic top showing the gears. There's a cool one in Victoria British catalog that says
RX7 on top, might get it if anyone can tell me how to get the **** off. Any other suggestions?

'85 GSL-SE

'85 RE-EGI 13B
FIPK poking it's nose out into cold air.
Emissions legal port
Racing beat header & presilencer
Custom 2 1/4" piping & rhino muffler
HAWK brake pads
ACT Clutch (which now needs to be replaced )
Rebuilt tranny & rear-end, and obviously engine, about 15~20k ago.

Ran a 15.4@89.75mph at mission racepark on wintertires, couldn't launch hard and got wheelspin into 3rd gear I suspect a mid to low 14 in the mid 90s is doable with a new clutch and some grippy tires.

Sweet! I have the holes in the somewhat stock exhaust (new muffler and presilencer added though), and the no rub strips mod, AND I also have the no emblems mod. I think it adds around another 50 or so HP not having all of those.
